Beautiful café, I love the decorations and the seating is so comfy. The vegan chicken was a bit rubbery however the soup was delicious. Really nice coffee too! I also think the vegan cheese wasnt very nice in the 'chicken' toastie, that's my opinion.

Inclusive, cosy and welcoming atmosphere. Food was delicious, inexpensive, was in great portion and prepared and served with love and care. We brought our dog with us and she was allowed in to the cafe. We ordered the chicken Tikka mayo sarnie, aubergine soup, curry, and 2 coffees and it was only £10pp.

Aubergine cafe is an absolute haven for me. They describe themselves as a venn diagram between the neurotypical world outside and the autistic world within and this is so true. It's for everyone, not just autistic people, but the accommodations they make from things that reduce noise and sensory overload, to free toys books and crochet makes it so welcoming. Its also worth noting that the cafe is just a small part of the Aubergine community with activities and events and work opportunities for the autistic community. I love the place so much. Its inclusivity manifest.

Best Cafe I've ever been to in my entire existance. Cosy atmosphere, comfy chairs, and positive pride and neurodivergence messages and poems plastered over the walls, books to read and there was plenty of yarn and chrochet/knitting needles avaliable from reception. There was even a guitar, the food was delicious and 100% vegan (I mean it, there was no plastic wraps, plastic straws even) I couldn't find a single unsustainable thing they did. The walls were green, the floor was grey, I couldn't decide whether I want my salad sandwich toasted or not so they gave me one half untoasted the other toasted. One time they even let me mop the floor (I had great fun pretending the mop was a Nimbus 200 or a hobby horse) and one of the ladies at the counter allowed me to keep my 50p change The only ones I don't reccommend this cafe to are homophobes, bullies of autistic children and animal abusers. I loved every minute I spent in Aubergine and I hope to visite many times again

We had our staff Christmas meal here- a three course meal and everything was so delicious! A lovely quiet atmosphere so we could hear what was going on, and we were able to BYOB. The team were so attentive to our needs - don't hesitate to book!!

Selena, Aarwn and Jake are very friendly staff. Enjoyed their company and the food. I had the cheese, tomato and ham style toast in brown bread. Another time I had chikn mayo with tomato and cucumber and lettuce sandwich. Aarwn bakes some lovely cakes too. I enjoyed the lemon cake and chocolate cake. Currently they serve sandwiches, toasties and baguettes with a choice of vegan prawn mayo, chikn mayo, chikn tikka, ham and cheese with tomatoes, lettuce and cucumber. They also have cake, coffee and tea. Can't wait for their sundaes and lamb style curry to come back. Definitely recommend as they are autism and disability friendly. The cafe is small can seat about 16 people. They take as much precautions for Covid using masks and sanitisers.
